A Legacy that Begins in the 70s
The origin of this legacy dates back to the 1970s, when Dr. Oscar Alberto Martínez Soto, the brothers’ grandfather, began his healthcare career in a small neighborhood in Córdoba. After 13 years as a rural doctor, he decided to settle in the city and open his own practice. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a policy of constant reinvestment, he transformed that practice into a clinic with advanced infrastructure, offering medical care at all levels of complexity.
Avedian was born from the combination of decades of experience in the health sector with the entrepreneurial vision of the three brothers. With the mission of transforming healthcare, Avedian has expanded its operations throughout Latin America, collaborating with hospitals and insurance companies in countries such as Argentina, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico.
By the 1990s, the family continued to expand its vision. Four years later, with the purpose of improving the quality of life of their patients, Dr. Martínez Soto launched a prepaid medicine company that responded to regional needs. This environment was the setting in which Guillermo, Pablo, and Facundo grew up, absorbing from a young age the culture of community service and integrating into the family business, acquiring a deep understanding of the challenges of the healthcare system.

Avedian, founded in 2016 under Guillermo’s leadership, stands as a technology company that merges inherited knowledge in healthcare with artificial intelligence and advanced algorithms. Guillermo, as Co-Founder and CEO, has applied his medical expertise to implement Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG), a key tool that optimizes efficiency in hospitals and insurance companies.
Facundo, Co-Founder and CFO, has played a fundamental role in the financial area, developing pay-for-performance models that increase the sustainability of health institutions. For his part, Pablo, Co-Founder and COO, brings his legal expertise in healthcare, ensuring regulatory compliance and improving organizational processes, all while leading a team operating in four countries.
